Soften The Bling With Prints

Often we think twice before we buy that sequence embellished dress. Obviously we wouldn't want to steal the bride's cake. Many a times we force ourselves to buy dull looking dresses, the dresses we would not look at for years as it was a forced choice. Poor Dress.

Well bling is king of occasions and to make it subtle one could add a few printed fabrics. I had this gorgeous Black Anarkali with a sequence yoke that I wanted to be accepted at the first go. So I searched my Box and took out a plain chiffon cloth and sent it to the digital printing guys to create a floral print fabric. This was my first.

Attached here are two garments using the print that was digitally made. My Black Anarkali looks so gorgeous with the floral print dupatta. And the simple Saree is a stunner.

Rochelle Maria Rao - Femina Miss India International

Heartiest Congratulations to the beautiful Rochelle Maria Rao on winning the Miss India International title at the Pantaloons Femina Miss India 2012. All the very best and God Bless You. I met her for the Goa Navy Queen Pageant in Dec'11 as she was the emcee for the show; and she carried my saree so gracefully. She is a beautiful person and I wish her all the luck.

My New Love For Scarves and Rust Dyeing

Keeping this one for me. A pure satin soft flowy rust dyed scarf. I want to experiment, improve, and innovate. May be work around the theme 'From Rags To Riches' or maybe 'Broken Is B eautiful'. A little delay or wrong judgement of time can damage the fabric. But when did I care about being perfect. There is a lot of scope in imperfections. You can create and beautify the torn piece and make it a piece of art. And art need not be perfect rather it should just please your soul and make your heart ♥  happy.  Right? Monday Blues Can Be Pretty Too 😍

Blue Chiffon Lehenga Choli Mondayyyyyy...... a fun day,? Nahhhhh! Unless you are on a vacation mode. ðŸĪŠ But Monday badnaam hua kyun? Why do we detest Mondays. And, why do we make the colour blue look & feel so gloomy. It is a pretty colour no? Just like the clear blue sky that smiles at us during the day while providing infinite positive vibes. It is true we dread to face working Mondays after a chilled out Weekend. But darling at the end of the day Vitamin M is needed to clear all the bills. How about we wear a bright colour and start our week. Wearing a bright/dark shade of blue will make Mondays 💙 look cheerful. Try it! Designed this beautiful blue chiffon lehenga especially for those who love woven fabrics and simple cuts. You can wear this lehenga set minus the dupatta or with it. The kaftan blouse lining slip can be rolled to give a short inner blouse look depending on one's comfort. Howz it?
