The shopping season starts with the first day of Navratri that is TODAY :) and to make this special and worthwhile I will be introducing my lin of salwar kameez in addition to my latest saree styles at Showcase Art Gallery, Hiranandani, Powai from 28th to 30th Sep'11.

Apart from this I will be adding some kurtis / tunics for my Ghatkopar exhibition that will be from the 1st to 2nd of Oct'11 at 156/G1, Chandra Rashmi Bldg, R.B. Mehta Rd, Ghatkopar E, Mumbai.

And for those who cannot travel to the Central side, well I be exhibiting my designs at A.D's Art Gallery, next to High Point Restaurant, Lokhandwala Mkt, Andheri W from 5th to 7th Oct'11.

After this I will be in Goa to showcase my stuff and then to Nagpur between 21st to 23rd Oct'11

Heartiest Congratulations to the beautiful Rochelle Maria Rao on winning the Miss India International title at the Pantaloons Femina Miss India 2012. All the very best and God Bless You. I met her for the Goa Navy Queen Pageant in Dec'11 as she was the emcee for the show; and she carried my saree so gracefully. She is a beautiful person and I wish her all the luck.

How To Wear A Saree On An Anarkali

Saree on an Anarkali Somehow every August I make an attempt to start writing here and then I get busy. Hoping this time I continue it for the rest of the days. And what better colour than orange to start blogging again. Orange is just not a colour, it is my lucky charm. It has always been the Universe's answer to my prayers. A wish fulfillment colour ;). Wore this indo-western long anarkali dress yesterday to celebrate Independence Day. Draped a colourful saree on top of it first and then revealed the actual dress. I love all colours just like the colourful saree, but deep within I am total desi. I am proud being an Indian. The saree is my identity. It has given me the world 🌎 on a platter. Nazar mat lagana ji. Exclusive Black Lehenga Choli BLACK!!!! Always has your back. Right? Most people feel confident wearing black. This colour is synonymous to parties and hence, may be people get drawn to it easily, especially when they want to uplift their mood. The pattern/style, fabric doesn't matter. It injects instant confidence and only that matters. Can you relate? Well, though I love this colour, I avoid it as much as possible. The stares that I get from both genders makes me check if I am wearing clothes or not. Lolz 🤣. I wonder why it creates insecurities in many. Main itni Sunday hoon, main kya karun ?🤪.
