Pretty in Black....Always

Exclusive Black Lehenga Choli

BLACK!!!! Always has your back. Right?
Most people feel confident wearing black. This colour is synonymous to parties and hence, may be people get drawn to it easily, especially when they want to uplift their mood. The pattern/style, fabric doesn't matter. It injects instant confidence and only that matters. Can you relate?

Well, though I love this colour, I avoid it as much as possible. The stares that I get from both genders makes me check if I am wearing clothes or not. Lolz 🤣. I wonder why it creates insecurities in many. Main itni Sunday hoon, main kya karun ?🤪. Beauty is skin deep and not superficial. Having said that, let me touch on another topic related to this colour - the skin colour.
We may love black clothes, but there are many among us who do not like people with a darker/black complexion. My question is why? How does it matter? Should not only the character matter? People don't spare black cats too. I so love these munchkins. We need to change before karma hits you hard.
Coming back to black outfits, I recommend them for cocktail parties and wedding receptions. Designed this black lehenga to give you an indo-western feel by using a unique fabric for the skirt, and by styling a cape on top of the blouse.
The stole dupatta is for namesake. I made sure to include it as some people find the lehenga set incomplete without the dupatta.

Let me know what you think about this beauty ;)

Fashion and Food - My Pandemic Journey

Colors make me happy.  I do love wearing white dresses. But, I will always team them up with a colorful accessory. White to me is like a canvas that is waiting to be painted on. It has been good 14 years since I started my label KIM PEREIRA.   When I started in 2007, the Saree chose me. Though I am trained in western dresses, I started my career by designing sarees. Destiny had its own plan. Sarees led me to anarkalis and lehengas, and this all gave me the world 🌎 on a platter.  There was no looking back from then on. But, I wanted to design white wedding gowns. And this took me from Mumbai back to Goa in 2016.  It is then that I got to design the first catholic wedding gown. But wait a minute. There is a twist.  Remember the book Alchemist? Everything that the boy learnt on his journey came in handy later. Right? So, coming back to the white wedding gown that I got to design for a beautiful goan bride. She wanted golden embroidery on her dress. Surprised? I am glad she dared to be di
